“ I was surprised to see recent negative reviews, and had a seemingly opposite experience to others (i.e. went here a year or so ago and didn't love it, but went last night and did). Service, food, and drinks were excellent. A little overpriced but really enjoyed everything overall. ”
“ We heard that Nosh & Grog had a new chef, so we stopped by tonight to give it a try and were very pleasantly surprised. Starting off the menu was interesting. It's not huge but has a lot of different choices in different price ranges. We started with a pretzel which was buttery and delicious, and then we had the Big Nosh burger and the Salmon. Both were really good and the salmon in particular looked awesome. If you are in Medfield do yourself a favor and stop by Nosh! ”
“ I am utterly blown away by the fact that this place somehow only has 3.5 stars. Lots of whiners on Yelp I guess. I'm sitting on a high top in the corner as I write this. I've never felt so compelled to praise a restaurant for my dining experience. After browsing the superb beer menu, my girlfriend and I started with the Popcorn Shrimp and Crab Rangoon. The shrimp was juicy and plentiful. Crispy on the outside, but not so much so that you feel like you're eating greasy fried food. The hot honey pickle tartar sauce was a terrific pairing. The crab Rangoons were equally impressive. Very light and crispy with a burst of flavor from the filling. For our entrees, I had the Brick Chicken and my girlfriend got the Gumbo which she is reviewing separately (with equal praise). My dinner knocked me on my butt. The chicken was plump and tender. Everything on the plate down to the edible flower garnish served a purpose. The mashed potatoes were that stick-to-your-ribs goodness. Even the escarole was perfect. I don't possess the necessary culinary acumen to justly describe how good this food was, but you won't be sorry for trusting me. I'd be remiss to not compliment the excellent service we received as well. Our server (whose name escapes me) was one of those rare waiters who would give you a straight answer if you ask him which item to order. Guy was the man. Someone call Yelp and fix this place's rating. 3.5 stars is a travesty. We'll be back soon. ”
